Thats because they are not following the spirit of the law and they have blatantly ignored tons of courts orders including refusing the land the plane that took 92 percent INNOCENT immigrants that went to the torture prison.

So it’s more of a procedural and legal fuck you to the courts… not an actual fuck you, just complete blowing off the courts? Thanks Anne you’re the best!

Well, I guess it’s good to know they’re at least *listening* to the courts and only being jerky until a judge slaps their hands.

I’m still livid over this administration’s interpretation of Olmsted. Really seems like they won’t be happy until PWDs are forced back into the institutions many fought so hard to get out of in the first place.

So glad my brother is with mom, grandma, and Jesus. I’m not sure what all of this would’ve meant for him😢🙄🤦‍♀️. My heart aches.

I may be mistaken and if so would appreciate being corrected, but it is my understanding that the jurisdiction of the United States extends to cover vessels operating under US registration, and that this includes aircraft, located anywhere in the world. Extraterritorial jurisdiction is a common feature of international law and the principles and practices have been definitively set out and litigated over the years. If this is in fact the case then the administration was ignoring the law in pursuit of its own ends.

Thank you. I really try to hold my judgement until I have read your take on legal issues. But it’s a rough fight!
