THIS IS HUGE!! Wisconsin Elections Commission Refers Elon Musk to DA for Possible Prosecution Over $1million Giveaway to Voters

Last year Elon Musk offered voters in Wisconsin checks for $1million if they signed a petition against “activist judges”.
The petition read:
“Judges should interpret laws as written, not rewrite them to fit their personal or political agendas.… I’m rejecting the actions of activist judges who impose their own views.”
The offer was made through Musk's pro-Trump "America" PAC.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission has just determined that this violated Wisconsin elections law, and has referred the matter to the Brown County District Attorney. The DA now has 40 days to decide whether or not to prosecute.
(While other places are reporting this, I actually went and found the referral letter from the Wisconsin Election Commission to Brown County DA David Lee, and I am including it - with email addresses redacted by me - for Notes from the Front members.)
This is huge not only for what it is - but also because if Musk *is* criminally charged and prosecuted, let us remember that in 2024 Musk offered voters in several swing states $1million if they were registered voters and signed a petition “in favor of the First Amendment and Second Amendment”, again through his pro-Trump PAC.
This is what we call the "trickle up" phenomenon. In other words, sh*t trickles up to Trump, even if he thinks that the buck doesn't stop with him. Because he and Elon were thick as thieves during all of those shenanigans. Oh, wait, they *were* thieves - and at least one of them still is.
Put another way, if Musk goes down for this, all of the same things can be inferred in his pro-Trump PAC's pro-Trump actions during the 2024 presidential election. Same playbook, similar petition, similar set-up, just a different election that happens to have had Musk and his pro-Trump PAC buying vote..er.."supporting" Trump.
I’m *not* saying that he could be criminally charged in the 2024 election giveaway (although I’m not saying that he couldn’t). What I *am* saying is that when this particular sh*t hits this particular fan, Trump is right in the spatter zone.
